Josh Kaplan’s love affair with food began with his first job in high school at the best university pizza shop in Syracuse; he kicked off his professional career in New York City, with stops in San Francisco, London and Portland, Maine, where he currently resides. Josh has cooked alongside multiple James Beard award-winning chefs, worked in numerous acclaimed restaurants and cooked for two US Presidents. He has a wide range of experience, including catering hundreds of weddings, televised culinary demonstrations, private cooking lessons and preparing wine-paired, multi-course dinners. As a private chef, Josh has catered large events for as many as 2,000 people and intimate gatherings for just a few.

Josh loves curating relationships with local vendors and creating menus geared toward seasonal and regional offerings.
